What does Corporate Social Responsibility mean to Malory Street Consulting?
Our CSR policy recognises that we play an important role and stakeholder within the local and global community with an obligation to the environment ensuring that our efforts allow us to give back to the world more than as much as it gives us.
Scope
This policy applies to our company and reflects the expectations we have on both our customers and suppliers alike and we want to be a responsible business that meets both the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. Our company’s social responsibility falls into two categories; Compliance and Proactiveness. Compliance refers to our company’s commitment to legality and willingness to observe community values. Proactiveness is reflected in our initiatives to promote human rights, help communities and protect our natural environment.
Compliance
The Law
Our company will:
- Respect the law;
- Honour its internal policies;
- Ensure that all our business operations are legitimate; and
- Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent.
Business Ethics
Malory Street Consulting will always conduct business with integrity and respect for human rights. We’ll promote:
- Safety and fair dealing;
- Respect towards those we do business with;
- Anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices; and
- Protecting the environment.
Our company recognises the need to protect the natural environment. Keeping our environment clean and unpolluted is a benefit to both current and future generations. Stewardship will also play an important role in the support of renewable resources for those that are not. We actively work towards ensuring that the product we make is made conscious and respectful of the material used in their creation as much as they achieve their useful purpose. We’ll always follow best practices when disposing of garbage and using chemical substances.
Protecting our People
We’ll ensure that we:
- Don’t risk the health and safety of our employees and the wider community;
- Avoid harming the lives of local and indigenous people; and
- Support diversity and inclusion.
Human Rights
We abide by our obligations as set out under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and support the ideals of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).
